Halloween has become the third biggest holiday in the UK behind Christmas and Easter. A Halloween family funfair will light up Derby’s Market Place from October 26 to November 5, while a puppet-making workshop will be on offer at Markeaton Park. Adults can get their chance to dress up at Derby Leisure and Events’ Halloween Party, which features a drag act. Over 18s can head to the party at the social club in Moor Lane, Allenton, with doors opening at 7.30pm.
